MLB Best Bets: Friday, 3/29
Baseball Bets Are Back - You Betcha!
Opening Day is in the books! We had a few rainouts, but otherwise some pretty good games and some pretty predictable results with all our big favorites coming through on the money lines.
Heck, the Pirates even won in extra innings - that was a nice bonus for me!
DFS lineups were strong - nothing hit big, but profit is profit (a wise man once said to me). I’m not going to be covering DFS here but check out our free and premium coverage at RotoBaller, I have hired some very talented guys over the last few years to help create that content.
Day One Results + Introducing 2024 BB Tracker
Here’s a snapshot of how Opening Day bets fared and I am going to include the link to the Google Doc daily, too, since eventually we are going to fill this sheet up to where we can’t fit it in a screenshot anymore.
I wanted to start the season with 100% transparency and maintain it throughout the season, I think it’s really important for everyone to see that every bet is being tracked.
I failed to mention that all bets are ONE unit unless otherwise listed. We will have some half-unit and quarter-unit bets eventually, especially when we get to some strikeout ladders and other types of bets later in the season.
A +3 unit day is a great start, so I am not going to complain about Tarik Skubal being pulled at 83 pitches while he was pitching a gem and coming up one strikeout short. I’m not going to complain!
