MLB Best Bets: Friday, 6/14
The Busiest Week Ever
So it’s 1:30 and I just realized I didn’t post any bets or send out a newsletter.
I was up at 5:30 and started looking at numbers. But I was falling asleep in my chair. So I went and picked up a big ass coffee and took a 30-minute walk.
I was back by 7:00 AM and feeling better and started writing my Friday MLB Power Rankings piece.
I was interrupted doing that a number of times by my day job - it’s my last official day on the clock as a cyber school teacher. I had students still submitting assignments on the last day they would be accepted (don’t like - was that you in High School?) and have to update grades, send out notices to those who failed, and continue to work with some others throughout the day to try to get them to pass.
I finished my article but I had about another half dozen tasks to do either in the house for RotoBaller, or for myself.
And now I am here - getting this out later than I had hoped, but I promised I would have a full breakdown for you.
For such a big slate, I actually have fewer bets than I thought I would, but as always, I have some action that I like and a couple of bets at nice odds that I am excited about.
Programming note - next week, I should settle into a better routine for the summer. You’ll notice we are throttling back a bit on NRFI and I will be hunting out value elsewhere. K props will always be my favorite and you can expect to see those all season long.
I’m going to keep the rest of this short and sweet as I have much more to do yet this afternoon!
NRFI BET
CHW - ARI (+100 DK)
It’s wild that these two pitchers have combined for a 21-1 record on NRFIs (cuz they ain’t that good) but it’s true.
