MLB Best Bets: Friday, 6/23

And just like that it’s the early afternoon on Friday. My apologies for not having this out sooner but it’s been a morning (and a week).
I missed posting yesterday but I also didn’t mind too much as Thursdays are usually small slates and my one day off from content during the week. Naturally, I did well with my bets, hitting Snell and Garrett’s K props (both went way over) and a few parlays as well. That’s been the pattern lately, doing well on days when I don’t play big or write the newsletter. Which I am sure you could understand be maddening when you spend hours on the other days pouring over the data and trying to make the best picks.
I spent all of Wednesday night and early Thursday morning in the ER with this kid - my 4-year old daughter, Audrey.
She was a trooper and even endured her first IV as they did a whole bunch of tests on her. She is doing well and turns out she didn’t have Pneumonia, which is what they feared at first - just a viral infection and maybe some lingering asthma that was preventing her from breathing well.
Fast forward to today and I was up at 5:00 AM writing up some pitching picks for DFS and then went to my Mom’s to help her organize some stuff for a yard sale. It’s been almost two years since my dad passed and I still have some of his stuff to go through and decide what I want to keep and what she can sell and get rid of. It’s an important step in the grieving process, I know, but it’s tough and it makes me slow down long enough to realize how much I miss my dad.
And as soon as I finish here, my wife and I are heading to a wedding (someone from her family) so I need to keep this shorter than I have been as I am very quickly running out of time!
