When the Smoke Clears...
I am not sure where all of you hail from, but I’m in Central Pennsylvania and today’s the first day in the last three days where the sky looks somewhat normal as the smoke from the Canadian wildfires is finally starting to clear off. It was bad and we really couldn’t spend much time outside this week. They canceled a lot of youth and pro sports and it was just a smoky mess. With the weekend coming up, I am glad we are getting back to some normalcy.
I’m ready for cookouts and days at the pool and all the good summer stuff. And of course…more baseball! My mom, sister, and brother-in-law are heading to the Pirates-Mets game tonight and I’m jealous as I have yet to make it to a MLB game this season. But now that school is out, it’s definitely on my short list of things to do.
After a day off (totally off, like I didn’t make ANY bets, just played some DFS lineups), it’s a nice slate to come back to today with 15 games and some spots that I definitely want to target. Let’s do a quick recap of our first losing day this week (Wednesday) and then on to today’s picks!
Wednesday Recap
Overall: 7-11, -3.84 units
I probably went overboard on the pitcher props in hindsight, and I was too invested in the same pitchers with outs, strikeouts, and win props between Webb, Scherzer, and Kirby.
Through June 8: 385-382-2, +12.79 units
