MLB Best Bets: Friday, 8/16
Back on the K Train
Yesterday I tossed out two bets on a small slate and both of them just missed (Flaherty had 7 strikeouts while we needed 8, and the NRFI missed by a run when the Tigers opener Alex Faedo suddenly couldn’t throw a strike and walked four hitters in the first inning).
Today is a much better day for betting as we have a full slate of games and several good pitchers on the mound to target for strikeouts.

We have a few lopsided matchups today that I am going to target in a few different ways and the usual NRFIs and K props, too.

THE NRFIS (they aren’t dead, but they’ve been tougher lately)
Great odds here on one game, and not so much on the other. I will parlay them at .25 units to build in some upside.
