The Day After the Debacle
I knew it was coming. I didn’t think it would be this bad, but regression hit hard yesterday as MOST of my bets missed for the first real BAD day of the season. It’s funny because I even mentioned that it was coming a few times, but I was hoping we could just win every day all season long. That wasn’t realistic, and I knew it.
I had to roll out of bed this morning at 5 AM and go through the same process. I kept thinking, “What did I miss yesterday?” and I came away with this conclusion.
Some of the stuff that happened was WEIRD and unexpected - typical baseball variance rearing its ugly head. But I also think I got a little too big for my britches in that I made some assumptions about certain pitchers and teams based on fairly small sample sizes, too.
So today’s card is significantly smaller, even with 15 games. I am not recommending any bets that I am not really in love with today and there were a bunch of games and props where I had a lean, but it wasn’t strong enough to make the cut. My idea here is to bounce back with a positive day by betting on fewer bets, not more.
I’m going to skip the recap of yesterday, not because it was so bad but because I am tight on time today. We are hosting Easter dinner and the subsequent egg hunt at our place and I was out of town all day yesterday so the yard isn’t mowed, and our house is a mess - you get the picture!
I will recap both yesterday and today for tomorrow and update all the records, I just don’t have the time today!

Our guys Springs going up against Oakland’s import Fujinami who got absolutely blown up in his debut. Tampa is rolling right along and they are 7-0 on the year and have cleared the run line in EVERY GAME. Pretty wild, but I think they can do it again today.
