Okay, I am officially done tinkering with today’s card. I am going with a wide variety of bet types today and even trying out a new type of bet.
It’s a great slate, as most Tuesdays are! Let’s talk about this new bet type…
It’s called NO HOME RUN bets - in essence, betting that an entire game goes without a home run. I saw some friends in the industry experimenting with them, and it drew my interest.
Here are the two bets for today.
The Pirates and Marlins are both in the bottom five for home runs hit in the league. The game is at PNC Park today, which is pretty pitcher-friendly and features Mitch Keller (0.59 HR/9) and Sandy Alcantara (1.26 HR/9). I’m more worried about Sandy than Mitch, but these odds felt like it was worth a shot.
The second game features Shane Smith (0.58 HR/9) against Lance McCullers (1.11 HR/9). The White Sox are third to last in home runs hit this season, while Houston ranks 19th.
Let’s take a look at the rest of the card, which includes straight bets, NRFIs, and pitching props!
