Sneaking in some NFL Bets...
Hey there fam! It’s a big Tuesday slate and it’s been a few days since I had a full newsletter so I didn’t want to leave you hanging today.
It’s a challenging time of year for me to keep my content going, but I am hellbent on doing ALL of it. I am starting to switch over to some NFL content and at the same time being asked to go on basketball podcasts while still trying to grind baseball every day.
I pride myself on covering all three sports, but the next two months are easily the most difficult time of year for me to do so without totally abandoning baseball.
Anyway, you can still expect baseball bets for the next few weeks, but they might be fewer and further in between, while I am going to start sprinkling in some football content either with futures or season-long props.
Speaking of which…
Detroit Lions to Win the NFC North (+135 DK)
I had a fellow capper point this bet out to me and while I already made my predictions and bets for win totals, I have NOT yet made any wagers on division winners, playoff appearances, etc…
The Lions, despite dominating their division last season and bringing back all of their top players this year are still the favorites this season, but we are getting much better odds here on them than on teams like PHI (-120) or ATL (-140).
The Lions offense is ELITE and they have taken steps to improve their defense this year. I know Green Bay is coming on strong and that Chicago will be better, but the road to a title still leads through Detroit and I expect them to come out on top when it’s all said and done.
Okay…on to the baseball bets…
