NBA Daily Dose: 10/27
Thursday Night is NOT just for football, anymore!
Tonight’s NFL game is actually setting up to be a pretty good one (for once) but I have my eye fixed on the NBA as there are four solid games (okay, maybe three if the Clippers sit Paul George, too) in the association tonight.
If you were looking for my NFL bets this morning they are getting delayed one day and will be out TOMORROW morning, and then props on Saturday.
Enough small talk, here is what I am looking at tonight, and yes this is going out a little earlier than usual so there are still some moving parts that could affect both DFS and bets/props yet.
NBA Game Value Model
The OKC-Clippers game is by far the ugliest and the one that I am least interested in outside of a few plays (SGA, Mann, Zubac) as long as Paul George plays.
DraftKings DFS CORE
Luka Doncic - $12000
There’s really no way around Luka tonight in my opinion, especially in any cash format. He’s averaging (let that sink in) 63 DK points per game and gets Brooklyn on the second half of a B2B. He’s going to be a near must-play every night this season and I’ve already bet him to lead the league in scoring and as the MVP. He’s pricey, but we can fit him.
Keegan Murray - $5500
The Kings’ first-round pick is making his first start of the season as he came off the bench in his first two appearances. He’s still underpriced as he’s yet to have a true breakout game yet, but it’s coming soon. His game is smooth and polished and he’s already shooting 43% from deep. This game between the Kings and Grizzlies is by far the one to target in DFS, too.
Tre Mann - $5600
Mann started for the injured Josh Giddey against the Clippers on Tuesday and shot the ball 24 times! That resulted in 25 points and even though he wasn’t efficient at all, we’ll take that at his price. SGA is still the OKC guard to own, but Mann is 4k cheaper and went over 7x value on this price last time out.
