NBA Daily Dose: Friday, 12/30
Ride the Prop Train...
It’s Friday night, though it doesn’t really feel like one since I have been off the day job all week and so like yesterday, I am a bit behind on my schedule. I was sitting here trying to get this started and my NFL cheat sheet finished, but had to get up and take a walk in the park with my 3-year-old just to get out of the house for a bit and get some fresh air!
Anyways, it’s a smaller Friday slate for NBA than usual so I am scaling it down a bit. Last night’s props did really well (I hope you hit the Zeke first TD prop, too) with Luka’s turnovers being the only miss.
The parlay didn’t work out as the Knicks and Cavs lost, and I continue to be a jinx for my Cavs anytime I pick them, ugh.
It’s a really fun DFS slate with value galore tonight thanks for Orlando being down 5-6 guys who are serving suspensions for the altercation that took place the other night.
Let’s get right into it.
Draftkings DFS Core
Giannis - $119000
He went for 80 in the loss on Wednesday I was glad to have him as a core play. With no Jrue or Middleton, he should continue to do everything for Milwaukee. Giannis is a priority to spend up for with LeBron and Sabonis being the other two after him.
Alex Burks - $4400
Burks dropped 32 in the game that Killian Hayes was ejected from on Wednesday and is far too cheap for his increased minutes and opportunities. He can fill it up quickly and is solid cheap chalk. I also like Saddiq Bey here, too.
John Collins - $5700
It ain’t broken, so I am not fixing it. Collins has come through two games in a row and there’s no Capela yet again tonight. Feel free to play Okongwu, too, as the Lakers get beat up by big men often, but Collins is the safer of the two for cash.
