The NBA is back! We have only two games tonight, but two awesome match-ups that I am looking forward to watching. Boston and Philly are both legit contenders in the East, while the Warriors are the defending champs and the Lakers are…always interesting.
This is the first premium NBA newsletter of the year! I am excited for both DFS and betting tonight. DraftKings has some great NBA contests and incentives going and they also have a 50% NBA boost at DK Sportsbook as well as a SGP-tiered boost as well. I will circle back to those a bit later.
NBA Game Value Model
Only two games tonight, but the obvious choice for DFS is the Lakers-Warriors game in terms of pace and points. But the pricing actually makes it tough to get too many pieces of the Warriors into lineups and there’s some concern that Steve Kerr eases guys into their minutes and goes deep into the bench. There seems to be more value in the Boston-Philly game actually, which brings me to the DFS core.
