NFL Best Bets: Week 8

I am not the college football enthusiast that I once was. There were many years where I never missed a Penn State game and while I still like to follow my Alma Mater, I don’t find myself following college athletics nearly as much these days.
A lot of that has to do with covering pro sports for fantasy and betting - there are simply only so many names of athletes and stats and trends (etc..) that I can cram into my head at once and so certain things have had to be cut over the years.
It’s a day later than usual here for my NFL card, but I simply could not cram a full NBA slate and NFL slate into one newsletter and I wouldn’t be doing justice to either if I did.
After a full NFL/NBA combo SWEEP on Thursday night, last night we had another solid return as NBA bets went a combined 10-3 and our DK cash lineup hit for the second time in a row, too.
I had someone ask about a FanDuel core, and while I still play over there, I usually don’t play cash games and I can really devote myself to staying on top of pricing and projections for one site at a time, especially during the NFL overlap. FanDuel has also really tightened up its pricing, so it’s very challenging on a nightly basis.
I am playing DK cash tonight, so I will post my final lineup sometime around 5-6 PM tonight in the Substack Chat - check there if you are playing NBA DFS on DK today, it’s a pretty solid 7-game slate.

NFL Bets (ML, Spread, Totals)
Chiefs are the most points I have laid on a favorite all season. Note that I bought a half point on the Texans, the current spread is -3.5 and I hate that extra half-point, so I ate some juice.
