NFL Best Bets: Week 9
Germany? They're playing in Germany?
So here we go again, Week 9 is off to an interesting start as my Steelers somehow pulled out a win against the Titans on Thursday night. They are now 5-3 and no one can explain why other than the usual cliche of “Mike Tomlin works miracles, blah blah blah.”
We now have a huge game on Sunday morning that’s taking place in Germany as the Chiefs face the Dolphins. That should be a showcase for two excellent offenses and certainly worthy of getting out of bed early or skipping church to watch.
The rest of the Sunday slate is kinda “bleh” other than the huge Eagles-Cowboys showdown at 4:25. The winner of that game will have a great shot at winning the division and both teams seem well on their way to the playoffs, perhaps even meeting again in the second round of conference championship.
For those who might ask - no NBA today. The cash game streak finally came to an end last night at five games as my cash line missed the cut. Props still went 4-3 on the night and both the parlay and teaser hit, so not all was lost. But I am going to attempt to get out of the house and get some exercise (maybe go on a hike) and get some fresh air. I might catch the Penn State game later…or not. But I am going to take it easy on NBA stuff for today and focus on the NFL for tomorrow.
