NFL Week 2 Update
More Props!
So I was all set to send this out yesterday when I ran out of time in my morning work session. I was busy updating my DFS cheat sheet and adjusting rankings, etc… I went back through my player props and added a bunch. I was ready to fire those off here and then all of a sudden it was time for…apple picking!
So I left it for a few hours, thinking I would just send it out when we got back. It was a beautiful “almost-Fall” day here in Central PA yesterday - the kind of day where it’s like 70 degrees with a breeze and you can comfortably wander through the orchards picking apples in shorts and tee shirt without being too hot or too cold.
There is a cool orchard near where we live that has some outdoor games and activities for kids in addition to apple and pumpkin picking, hay rides, and the like. So we spent the late morning and early afternoon frolicking in the countryside and I don’t think I looked at my phone more than…twice?
Long story short, it didn’t end all that well. My oldest (now 10.5 years old) had started to show signs of a rash in the morning and it got way worse as we were there. So back to the doctor’s office (in this case - urgent care) for another several hours only to find out it was probably just a viral infection (after getting her tested for COVID and other potentially worse things).
So that was a long-winded way of saying, I am sorry for not posting these sooner. However, I did drop yesterday’s updates in the Substack Chat, and I would strongly encourage you to check out the chat (I used it a lot in NBA season with last-minute updates and pivots).
What I am going to do right now just to make everything as clear as possible is to post ALL of the player props I have bet so far including a few more updates from this morning.
One freebie for everyone that I am adding this morning is A.J. Dillon over 2.5 receptions at -135 (DK). Dillon caught two passes on three targets last week while playing half the snaps, he should see closer to a 75-85% snap share this week with Patrick Taylor backing him up and I expect Jordan Love to target Dillon (and tight end Luke Musgrave) a lot in the short passing game.
