NFL WEEK 8: Sunday Games
Saturday Morning: Better Late Than Never
I posted some NBA props in the chat last night, because I simply couldn’t get an NBA post up yesterday and I decided to push the NFL post to this morning so it wouldn’t be rushed.
It has been a week…I love that the NBA is back, but trying to cover two leagues simultaneously is a little bonkers. I can usually manage the April/May baseball-basketball overlap, but the late October through January NFL-NBA overlap is challenging, to say the least.
I will get into a groove here, but this week was tough as I was also doing a lot of content at RotoBaller as a good friend was in the hospital for a few days and I was covering his stuff on top of all of mine, too.
But enough of that! Time is still at a premium today as I am taking my youngest to a birthday party shortly and doing all the suburban dad stuff.
Thursday’s night game was entertaining to watch but wasn’t the best start to the week for bets as some of our props fell short, but last week started slow and still finished a winner, so no need to dwell on that game.
It is a significantly smaller card this week, and I still may add a few plays by tomorrow morning (check the chat!) as we get some more pertinent injury information later today or overnight.
NFL BEST BETS: Sides and Totals
It’s a weird mix here but we have too many big spreads for my liking and some smaller spreads that feel a bit like traps. The one game that hasn’t been bet up yet (but probably should have been) is MIA-ARI and I think bettors may be underestimating the impact of Tua returning to this Miami offense.
The Eagles should be favored in their game and I think the Niners, even without their receivers, could roll over the Cowboys with their elite running game and solid defense.
